About the site
Siamese Cat Breeder is an independent information and directory website run by Ross Davies, GCCF cat judge and registered breeder. The site provides breed guides, care information and a breeder directory. It is not affiliated with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF) or any other official body.
Accuracy of information
All breed guides, care articles and other informational content on this site are written in good faith based on the author’s experience and knowledge. However, this content is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional veterinary, legal or financial advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for health concerns relating to your cat.
Breeder directory — important disclaimer
The breeder directory on this site lists catteries that have submitted their own details for inclusion. Listings are submitted by third parties. We do not endorse, recommend or verify any individual breeder, cattery or listing.
Inclusion in this directory does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee of any kind. We cannot accept responsibility for the conduct, practices or representations of any listed breeder. Before committing to purchasing a kitten, we strongly recommend that you:
- Visit the cattery in person before agreeing to buy
- Ask to see health test certificates for both parents
- Verify GCCF registration directly with the GCCF if claimed
- Use a written sales contract and never pay in full before collection

Calendar photo competition — image usage
This website features photographs submitted by members of the public to the annual CattyLicious Calendar Photo Competition, run by Icon Media Solutions Ltd t/a CattyLicious.com. All photographs displayed on this site were submitted under a signed copyright release in which the photographer confirmed they are the copyright holder and granted non-exclusive worldwide rights for use in CattyLicious calendars and any related promotional materials, including publication on this website.
This site forms part of the CattyLicious calendar promotional network. References to the calendar competition and links to the competition entry page at shop.cattylicious.com/calendar-competitions constitute promotional use of the calendars within the scope of the signed release.
If you have previously submitted photographs to the calendar competition and wish to withdraw your consent for future use of your image(s) on this website, please email ross@siamese-cat-breeder.co.uk with the subject line “Photo Removal Request”. Include your name, the approximate date of submission, and a description or copy of the image(s) you would like removed. We will remove the image(s) from our websites within 30 days of receiving your request.
Please note that withdrawal of consent applies to future use only and does not affect the lawfulness of any use that took place prior to the withdrawal. Images already published in printed calendars or other physical materials cannot be recalled.
SCB Colour Photo Competition — image usage
This website may also feature photographs submitted to the SCB Colour Photo Competition, run by Siamese Cat Breeder (siamese-cat-breeder.co.uk) to source photographs of Siamese, Oriental and Balinese cats in every recognised colour for the individual colour pages on the site.
By submitting a photograph to the SCB Colour Photo Competition, you confirm that:
- You are the copyright holder of the photograph, or you have explicit written permission from the copyright holder to submit it.
- You grant Siamese Cat Breeder and its associated network sites a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display, edit and use your photograph on this site, in promotional materials, and in related editorial content.
- Photographer credit will be displayed alongside any published photograph, with the cat’s registered name and cattery prefix where applicable.
- Photographs not selected for publication will be retained for possible future use within the same scope (with credit) unless you ask us to delete them.
To withdraw your image from publication, email ross@siamese-cat-breeder.co.uk with the subject “Photo Removal Request”. Include your name, the date of submission, and a description of the photograph. We will remove the image within 30 days of receiving your request. Withdrawal applies to future use only and does not affect the lawfulness of any use that took place prior to the withdrawal.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Siamese Cat Breeder excludes all liability for any loss or damage of any kind arising from use of this site or reliance on any content published here, including but not limited to information about breeders, catteries or third-party listings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from use of this site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
